Just got home from a double date night at Lava Hot Springs.
Yummy Thai food, a soak in a hot spring-fed pool in the chilly night air and moonlight, and good conversation with friends. The kids got to hang out with our friends’ kids and play while we parents got away for a few hours and relaxed.
Life is good.

Sounds just a bit more romantic than our dates at the dump

Sounds incredible. Amelia just went out of town for a few weeks and Jerome and I are going to the movies today, our first time to go anywhere besides the grocery store in a very loooooong time. (We are going to see “Slum Dog Millionaire” as it is FINALLY playing here.)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I miss hot springs. When I lived in New Mexico we were pretty close to them and went often. Not exactly around us here in Wisconsin!
My husband & I have only been out just once for a few hours in the past 6 years…if we had a night out I don’t even know where we’d go! We’d wander, confused.
Ha ha!
That looks like a lovely spot!

Wow. My blog entries from Italy may have made you a bit envious, but tonight I’m thinking of Thai food and looking at that picture and thinking that sounds like a perfect evening. Cool!

That looks and sounds amazing!!! I’m so happy for you. May you have many more wonderful nights like these. (Not too many, lest you start taking them for granted!)

Ok, I’ve lived here HOW LONG? And I’ve never been to Lava Hot Springs. Even worse, Monty is from Poky and has never been there!
Gorgeous evening photo!!!
