Spring Fever?

Seems like many of my blog friends are taking a bit of a hiatus lately. Whether it’s gardening, writing, a vacation, or just being busy taking care of little people, many of us are slowing down a bit on the old blogosphere.

Here at Chez Anthromama we’ve been dealing with sinus infections and lots of work piling up.

Did I say lots? I have at least 5 more chapters to edit for my current client, then revisions. And a 500 page manuscript appeared on my doorstep the other day, with a due date of April 6. And I’m editing magazine articles for a local Waldorf early childhood group. AND I have no childcare lined up yet!!

Wish me luck.

Good luck with all the work. I’m having a little work pause right now and am enjoying it. It seems to come in waves for me.

Yikes. You’ve got a lot going on. Right now, we’re between DSL providers, have Grammy visiting, and I’m swamped at work. Must be spring or something.

Still being hammered by sinuses? Ugh – hope it clears up. Supermum swears by her netipot.

Ooh, good luck with the work — and don’t forget to take a short break every now and then.

Thanks everyone. Though I said I would be slowing down on blogging, naptimes have dwindled to about an hour, which isn’t really enough time to relax and then work, so….

URD: I used to have a neti pot, but never got the hang of it. Hubby bought some odd saline mister product which works OK. I just hate headaches, they’re the one kind of pain that I typically medicate because I just can’t function somehow.

I swear by the neti pot too — although I dread it before I start. I hope you get the childcare thing worked out — that is a lot of work.

We’re going to check out a daycare provider tomorrow morning….wish us luck!

(I just got two emails about MORE editing work. Great news, but a bit overwhelming at this moment.)
